Principal's words: Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah Ta'ala alone. Domar Government College is a traditional educational institution located in a secluded village in Domar upazila of Nilphamari district. It was established in 1969 and nationalized in 1987. I on 13th October 2019, I was transferred from the Bangla Department of Nilphamari Government College and joined this educational institution as the Principal. After joining, I saw that the condition of the college was very fragile. Crisis of teachers in the college, crisis of educational materials for conducting academic activities. There is no gate in the college Campus. People are moving freely through the college with vehicles. In a word, there was no learning environment in the college. After joining, I am continuing my efforts for the overall development of the college. We have been able to bring back the teaching environment of classrooms with infrastructural development. National days are being celebrated with due dignity. Although educational activities have been somewhat hampered by the Corona epidemic, online classes are on. Today, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Desaratna Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, the father of the Bengali nation, Bangladesh has embarked on the journey of development. As part of this, a six-storey academic building, a five-storey dormitory and a five-storey dormitory are under construction at the educational institution. Once the projects are implemented, honors courses in new subjects will be introduced and the educational institution will have state-of-the-art facilities including computer lab.
I hope that the college will soon be considered as one of the best and ideal educational institutions in the area, insha'Allah, if the development work of the college is continued.
 It is my hope that the college will become one of the best educational institutions in the rural areas with the sincere cooperation of the esteemed political leaders of the region - well-wishers, parents, students and teachers.
